Angela Sbandelli is a children’s book illustrator and designer based in Siena, an ancient town in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. She studied traditional animation at Nemo NT Academy of Digital Arts in Florence, and her career started in animation working on the TV series Pipi Pup and Rosmary for preschool children. Then she got closer to the world of illustration, specializing in the children's market, with her work published in children’s books, magazines, children’s apparel, and fabric. Her work is digital; she like to sketch ideas on paper, but her projects are always finished in Photoshop for coloring and texturing. In her spare time, Angela likes to hike, read, and play with her fat cat.
