Mauro Forghieri
Mauro Forghieri was born Modena in 1935. A mechanical engineer, he joined Ferrari in 1960, becoming its chief technician and, later, overall head of the racing department until 1984. Among the innumerable successes of 'hisÆ cars, the 54 world championship Grands Prix victories stand out, as do the four driversÆ world titles and seven constructorsÆ championships. He founded a company for the design and construction of prototypes, where he is still fully active.Daniele Buzzonetti was born in Parma in 1944 and began his journalistic career in the motoring field in Rome in 1970. He has been the editor of the most important Italian motoring publications and still collaborates with many of them today.
